(1) [To the king, my lord: your servant Il]-ya[da'. Good health] to the king, [my lord! The la]nd and the f[o]rt(s) of the king my lord are well. The king, my lord, can be glad. (7) News of the son of Yakin: he is in Babylon. (9) Bel-udu'a, the messenger of Eṭiru the prelate, who has once or twice visited the king, my lord, has now come and said: "I have been sent to the Palace [...]" (Break) (r 1) I am herewith sending him [to the ki]ng, [my] lord. Let the king, my lord, hear what he has to say. (r 4) The Chaldean Nabû-ušallim, whom I sent to the king, my lord, was said to be with the prefect of Nugul. Now then I am sending him in charge of my messenger to the king, my lord.
