(6) Nabu-bel-šumati, the legate of Birat entered the Inner City on the 7th. I asked him: "Why did you come now?" Also, why is it that the Arabs plundered Sippar, but you did not go out with your servants but kept [them] away?' (r 9) I was scared by this message and (that is why) I came."
